Thought both gk’s played well

Martinez made a couple huge saves and Meslier was pinging balls all over the pitch

Arteta presser key points:

- Bellerin trained partially today, unlikely to play on Sat
- No ongoing contract talks with Auba
- Not expecting ‘big things’ in transfer market
- Smith Rowe, Nketiah, John-Jules future resolved next few days
- No players close to being sold

Sheff weds just lost Steven Fletcher for 2 months so that would be a great landing spot for Eddie. Plus Monk has a good track record of working with goalscorers (Bony, Chris Wood, Roofe, Che Adams, etc)

The list for Nketiah seems to be Bristol City, Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday.

We look great. Reminds me of Wengers older teams.

I knew this team wasn't as bad as they had been playing. I know it's early on, buy we've dominated the opening of this.

It's fun watching Arsenal again. So far Arteta has been everything we could have hoped for and more. It makes you realize how bad things were under Emery.

The first 20 minutes were total domination. A few nervy moments of defending after that though.

Torreira is so heavily involved these past few matches. There are Ozil sightings as well. Much improved.

Yea we got sloppy the last 15 mins or so. I'm hoping for a reaction in the 2nd half much like the Leeds match.

Don't like Torreira coming off at half. Hope it is not serious.

That is what happens when you don't defend anyone on a free kick. More of the same shite defending from them.

Get Reiss on for Pepe. Also maybe Martinelli for Ozil if Ozil cant get something going soon.

Fun first 25 mins, everything else has been complete shite now. Started so bright and now need to hunker down for the final 30 and pray for a point.

As soon as I saw the replay I knew it was going to be a red

At least the team is consistent, shoot themselves in the foot

Martinelli will get a good run with Auba's suspension now.

Yeah bad tackle. Oh well, still excited moving forward.

Palace were pretty lucky there.
