Arsenal have agreed £6.8m fee with Belgian club KAS Eupen for Nigerian striker Henry Onyekuru with personal terms yet to be agreed, Sky sources understand.
He was the joint top scorer in Belgium last year with 20 goals.

Nigerian striker Henry Onyekuru
I don't expect big things from him this season, but no one expected anything big from Holding either...

Well I'm done emotionally investing in this joke of a club and manager.

Neither Arsenal nor Wenger see this definitely being his final contract - may be but equally might not. Depends what happens next 2yrs #AFC

I've been preparing for his stay since it leaked in March. What angers me is the fact that the club is saying that Wenger could be extended again in 2 years and all the director of football and new assistants talk has seemingly disappeared. It's now Arsene FC as he put his ego ahead of what's best for the club. If Sanchez and Ozil leave then the atmosphere will be toxic again.

Why are you already talking about another contract after this one?? He needs to make sure we start winning and actually being world class before he gets talks of another contract

Of course the word is Stan made the final decision and that Arsene is the guy to help challenge for the premier league and win the champions league.
Well wtf happened the past 13 years?
It really is Arsene FC.

Sanchez is probably gone but Ozil I see staying. Wenger let's him do what he wants and always makes excuses for him. He has it made here. No clubs have shown interest in Ozil yet either.

We are fricked because no one on the board knows football and no one on the board actually has money invested in the club, unless you count Stan's son.
Arsene staying might be a good thing, but only because there was no concrete plan for life after him. And honestly Arsene fricked the club by not making a decision sooner. I just pray the shite that comes out of Stan and Gazidis mouths isn't just lip service and they actually have woke the frick up.
Anybody down to go to rams games to protest?

Taken from reddit/r/gunners. Ornstein is the most trusted source when talking Arsenal from the BBC:
some good news and some not so good news. we definitely need to shed the dead weight in wage structure. I honestly believe that Sanchez and Ozil want to stay at Arsenal, but (especially in Sanchez's case) want to see a move from the club that screams win and win now. I can't see any other way since its only a 2 year contract for Wenger and a large warchest to spend that they don't want to make moves immediately.
what else can be said about ownership that hasn't been. typical board nonsense as well.
good news on Kolašinac, odd news on Onyekuru considering how much info keeps coming from places like Sky.
like I said, depending on how the club goes about its moves this summer, we could be celebrating or mourning. unfortunately, nothing we've seen recently indicates that we are capable of making those moves but I remain optimistic, call me a sadist.
quote:
In an interview with Arsecast, BBC's David Ornstein covered a few points for Arsenal fans, given the recent renewal of Arsène Wenger's contract.
The points made in the interview: The board was divided in offering Wenger a new contract at the club. Wenger himself is unfazed by the board's division over his contract situation and is more worried about the fan's division and worries that it may impact on the team.
Many board members have lost faith in Stan Kroenke, no aggressive desire to get rid of him, but would perhaps like to see a change of ownership, not necessarily after Alisher Usmanov, though.
Alisher Usmanov's initial bid of £1,000,000,000 to Stan Kroenke was considerably more than what was reported in the press.
Despite reports, the fan's chants during the Everton game of asking for Kroenke to leave, he and his family were not affected by the chants and continue to "remain committed to the club".
Gazidis has said that there will be changes at the club, we will see them over the course of the summer, as per his statement after Wenger's contract announcement.
There will be no Director of Football at Arsenal, although they are looking into the possibility of someone to handle all of the contract negotiations and the scouting and analytical side of things.
Arsenal have an incredibly high wage bill. The wage bill MAY be the highest for a club outside of the UEFA Champions League. They need to comply with the Premier League's wage rulings and the UEFA ones too.
Movement on player contracts were on hold while Wenger's contract situation was dealt with, Alexis Sánchez and Mesut Özil's contracts will be resumed soon, no movement at all on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's contract as of yet.
Wojciech Szczesny, Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs' contracts are also a hot topic, no clue if they will stay at the club.
A lot of changes need to happen regarding the wage structure at the club, too many players taking up the wage budget that need to be sold. Arsenal's issues have never been around meeting the valuations of the players that they are linked with, but more meeting their wage demands, which could see the wage budget increase considerably, depending on player sales.
Arsenal are looking to invest heavily this summer, the transfer budget is believed to be around £150,000,000, which is a £40,000,000 increase on last summer's transfer budget.
Sead Kolašinac is almost essentially a done deal, has been done for some time, with his medical being done, too, just waiting on announcements, Henry Onyekuru's £6,800,000 deal from K.A.S. Eupen is completely fabricated, he has heard nothing regarding this and is not convinced that Arsenal has made an offer.
Arsenal need to focus on contract negotiations and summer signings as soon as possible.
No movement on other Arsenal staff members contracts, Arsenal refusing to comment on their progress, unknown if the contracts are tied to Wenger's future.
Seems like a busy summer at the Emirates Stadium is expected.
