England's criticism of Ozil is laughable.

He's world class, and frick me if he's lazy. He put in several 120 minute shifts for Germany and was still making runs.

He played a very unselfish wide role for Germany this World Cup and did plenty of defensive work. I imagine after a little rest he'll be exceptionally fit heading into the season, and with the runners around him, he'll have a fantastic year.

agreed 100%. don't think it's a coincidence either that his best match was the final, where he played to no. 10 after Kramer came off.

Apparently we're on the verge of signing Khedira too. Not just a great player but great friends with Ozil

yeah, i'm still going to need to see that one to believe it. not quite as confident there. sanchez and debuchy were confirmed by very good sources. khedira really hasn't as of yet.

btw, debuchy should be announced soon, maybe even today. newcastle are announcing janmaat today, apparently.

Yeah new castle wanted to get a replacement first
Which is something Arsenal hadn't done in the past so I cant blame Newcastle.

Sounds like Khediras wage demand is too high and we're out.

Need a Bender or Schneiderlin to close strong.

Bummer, but not surprised this is the deal killer.

Poldi is such a great character. He has to be awesome as a team mate.

The more I watch of Alexis the more I can't believe he is a Gunner. He fits our style perfectly and isn't scared to do the dirty work.

21 goals and 13 assists last year.

Byron, Poldi is fricking awesome. He and Per are fricking hilarious and good guys.

Twitter, which now says we're in and negotiating, all that's needed is a yes from SK.

It's silly season. I'll not take the bait next time. Wait and see.

Byron this is for you. Also his father figure Gary Speed committed suicide about 18 months after the injury.

His story is remarkable. I'm going to watch it again.

He is the most likeable person in the entire EPL.
