We still don't have arteta. Which based on the results of the last two years means a draw would be a great result

I just have a feeling about this match. Losing Arteta is a HUGE hit.

It might all be for naught if Fener are ruled banned next Wednesday.

I realize having Arteta is so huge for us but what exactly about him makes him so crucial?

Wouldn't an actual defensive mid do the same job?

He's exceptional in distribution, breaking up counters, intercepting, etc.

He makes the double pivot go. His absence was obvious over the weekend, where Ramsey and Wilshere struggled to stay on the same page.

Beautiful result. Couldn't have went much better minus the injury in the first half.

Cheers!

All that doom and gloom earlier in the week doesn't look all that bad now.

Everyone healthy but Arteta really, and even Monreal got minutes.

Arsenal still need help at DM, no one out there really good at slowing down the opposition or breaking up play.

Ramsey was very active, Theo was a big thorn in Fener's side, and Santi looked a great deal better.

5 days ago the sky was falling. We travel like 2,000 miles and win 3-0 on the road.

frick those guys. In the end we will be fine.

But being fine isn't quite good enough anymore. Need to do better than just 4th in BPL and early exits in other Comps. Don't think we have the quality, but more so, the depth.

pretty good match. we really dominated. fener didn't look good at all. i thought santi was pretty absent. final third play was, again, a little disconcerting. theo got the assist and the PK, but damn, he could have done so much more.

jack is one big conundrum. he's so good in the middle third, but he's not disciplined defensively, and not particularly creative enough to be an impact in the final third. he and rambo still aren't a great pairing at this point because both love to get forward too much. if they ever got on the same page (or if Wenger ever told one of them to stay further back primarily), they could potentially be a very good combo. as it stands though, they leave us vulnerable. being able to rotate them in MF alongside a DM would be nice.

We will make 2 more signings. Monreal back much sooner than expected. Our fullback situation is looking damn good.

A must signing, especially with the Arteta injury. He really isn't one, but he sure does play the position well.
