As fricking mad as I am, I guess I could blurt: "We looked like what Arsene has made us: an upper-mid-table team and not a contender."
But I'll chalk this one up to a poor referee, though our poor defending opened the door for his calls to screw us.
Seriously, does Arsene get paid commission on how much cash on hand the club has in the bank?

Again this was the same back line that almost single handedly gave us 26 out of 30 points our last 10 games. They were the second best in the league after Man city. Both pk's happened when we lost the ball in the middle of the park and they just ran right down our throats. Both the stealing of the ball and the running down our throats happened right where arteta usually is. If any non transfer is to blame its not getting a solid replacement for him.

No gibbs, no kosc, no monreal, no sagna the last minute. What games were you watching?
to think wed have all those guys for every game this season is an idiotic assumption.

Yea bc sagna got hurt in the 90th after we were down 3-1, Kosc got sent off by this abomination of a ref, and Gibbs/Monreal are fairly interchangeable. The back line that started this game and ended up "surrendering" a 3-1 lead was essentially the same back line that kicked arse last year. They gave up three goals bc of terrible refereeing, in game injuries, and no arteta, without whom I'm not sure we've won a game in two years. Going forward bc of suspensions and injuries yes our back line is in disarray and wenger has a week to sort it out. However going into this game there was every reason to be confident in the back line for at least the short term. Whether or not they'd last the whole year is irrelevant, but h of course i didn't think that. Although it wasn't unreasonable to at least hope they could last until Monreal and Verm came back. But that's over now

It was astonishing how much higher the threshold was for a Villa yellow card compared to an Arsenal one. Villa was fouling late the whole game and Anthony Taylor let them get away with it for the most part. Koscielny does it once and doesn't even make contact and he gives out a second yellow and effectively decides the game.

Agreed. That inconsistency in and of itself was enough to make the game a farce. Throw the bogus pk on top of it and I'm not even sure what adjective to use

You can make up all of the excuses you want. Your keeper should have been sent from the get go. Luna got a bogus yellow on what should have been a foul on Ox. Now the 2nd PK was bad. Never a PK and never a yellow. At the end of the day it evens up and you got ran by Villa. Quit blaming anyone but Arsene for feeding you all shite every year.

So what are you arguing? that we have no one else to play besides those guys on defense? Cus thats on arsene, not the ref. it was no secret we needed help on defense and at gk. This is the thin line Arsene is walking, the refs bad calls dont matter. The season is long and we already are missing players important to us winning in game one.
Besides schez should have been sent off. The ref screwed up for both teams but made it up to Villa. Luna shouldnt have gotten a yellow on the ox challenge.
So next game it is possible that gibbs is out. Monreal is already out, sagna took a nasty spill and could be out. Vermalaen is out and kosc is out. How hard is it to see that we have no one to play defense.

I am blaming arsene you dumb frick. Arsene never trolled me. If you have kept up with the thread instead of coming in here to troll, you would see most of us were adamant about needing reinforcements. Arsene hasnt trolled anyone. The patience has worn thin. It showed by the fans reaction at the emirates.
