Arsenal fans the last eight years...

that was actually my thought exactly

Actually Chelsea has been parked the bus on quite successfully several times this year. Score an early goal and hold on has a very good chance of being successful against Chelsea.
I don't know why TN Bhoy feels the need to belittle arsenal. He watches Scottish football, it's like being a fan of the D-League and then bad mouthing an NBA team

you don't park the bus when you're down early.

as a fan of pedophiles (he's a militant Catholic) I think he has a latent self-deception with the rumor that Wenger likes to diddle little boys.

No I'm saying teams have parked the bus on Chelsea pretty successfully. Villa and west ham in recent weeks come to mind. If we score first I think the same strategy we employed today could work

European Cups:
Celtic - 1
Arsenal - 0

And they're terrible to watch.
Arsenal fans have extolled the Wenger way since he joined up. During the barren years, they spent the entire time talking up how much more entertaining they were than the rest of England. Yes, they weren't winning trophies, but they had their pride. You're throwing that away in this thread.

sick arbitrary anecdote
the answer, btw, is one season before the last time Celtic did
how are your other 17 teams doing this year?

Our game plan was fine. We clearly were allowing Spurs to push up and looking to hit on the counter. We finish better and it's 2-0 with 60 minutes to play. Then we probably sit on the ball and take some air out of it.
There was a clear intent to win the game, not win pretty. I was fine with it.
Funny that Ox was so influential and played what I thought was one of his worst games. If he's sharper, we play better. It's a lot to ask of him at this point, to basically be Ramsey.
We've got a legitimate title shot, a better shot at the FA Cup than we could've imagined, and no excuse for not finishing top three and positioning ourselves for next year's CL. We've got a full war chest, a ton of young talent, and the longest-tenured manager in the league
I can't think of another BPL* side in a better spot.
*Celtic aren't in the BPL.

yesterday all but clinched a top 4 spot which is a nice feeling. gives us a nice consolation cushion if we trip up @Chelsea or Man City.
i don't know about that. the top four are all about even IMO. if we win saturday and tuesday, we go top. we haven't been great against the top clubs in the league this year. need to have a great performance saturday. get at least 5 pts out of these next three matches, get Ozil and Rambo back, and let's do this shite.
i agree with this, mainly because we have an absurd amount of money at our disposal this summer. though these next few years will be a dogfight between this year's top 4 and probably ManU (they'll be back, though probably without Moyes). will be interesting to see if 'Pool is able to maintain it's core (including BR). they're in enviable position too.

The way I'm looking at the season now is I'm very confident we will be in the Champion's League next season (would have to be an epic collapse or United wins this year's CL
for us to get bumped) and we have a very good shot of winning the FA cup and both of those combined make it a pretty decent year.
And we still have a shout for the title which makes it interesting.

i meant tie as in match, but a 1-1 result and 30 more minutes of ET would be the best possible scenario
though matic will be rested (bc he's cup tied) and willian and ramires will surely start since they're out saturday. still would be nice to have some of their players on fumes saturday.
