This all seems to be moot since the Boss is indicating he's perfectly happy with Sanogo in the second striker role.

After getting on the stick and signing Ozil, looks like we're back to resting on our laurels, personnel-wise

but don't you think he would create locker room issues like ya'll were talking about RvP earlier?

From all accounts that I have read, Suarez is regarded as a very good team mate. Trains hard and isn't a cancer in the locker room.

we probably won't make wholesale changes like the lineup I listed yesterday. I'd guess gibbo, Jack, ozil and giroud get a breather.

yeah I'd pretty much agree with this. his cuntiness seems to be restricted to on the field shenanigans. rvp was a weird a-hole.

I mean suarez could have leaked a story like rvp did absolutely trashing his teammates while forcing himself out. Lord knows he's had a worse supporting cast than rvp ever did.

i kinda think if we got draxler AW might consider putting him up top.

Haven't seen him play all that much though

A a Bundesliger I feel obligated to chime in. Draxler, if he continues to improve, will be the best midfielder Germany produces of this "golden era." He has the vision and slick ball movement that Özil has (though not as refined) and a long shot equal to that of Kroos (and if you don't know about Kroos' long shot ability watch this.).

Just watch this assist LINK

He is incredibly composed in possession, even under pressure he looks calm and he is very good at picking the final ball.
And to pile on a bit, he is an excellent finisher. He doesn't find himself in many situations with the ball inside the box, but when he does get those chances, he buries them.

So then I ask ... Does Germany let him leave?

You mean Schalke. He is already capped for Germany.

I mean Schalke, Dortmund or Bayern. (A.K.A. Germany or Bundesliga)

Will let him leave this summer me thinks.

He won't go to BvB.
Bayern's midfield is already stacked, but obviously the possibility is always on the table.
He has said a couple of different times now that he likes Arsenal, as well as the other top clubs around the world.
If Wenger is willing to splash out for him, then I would peg Arsenal as the favorites. It's really too early to tell at this point though.

Arsenal will probably compete with the other European giants for his signature. As long as Wenger is here we have a shot.

And Özil. He is a big lure for virtually ever other German. *Cough* Reus...

best thing is, he has a clause and we can afford said clause. means no bidding war and we just have to convince him we're a better landing spot, which with Arsene and our German contingent, puts us in fairly good position.

I agree. It just seems like a good fit. He has a great mind for the game, and will be able to play the style Arsenal want, and we all know what he can do on the counter.

Wenger sticking around for a few more years will play a major role. No big player is going to want to walk into a weird transitional period. I mean, look at ManU...
