So late October we should have a bunch of players returning basically. Hopefully by that time we can have depth and no one else has been put on an injury timetable.

Eh, we still got solid value. I would have liked to get a bit more, but we seemed in a hurry to get Song out of the door. His quoted price has always been around £15 million, so I'm not actually surprised. He's the best African passing midfielder, but he's not on Toure's or Essien's level yet. He could be, though the fact that he isn't a great athlete hinders him.

Pretty much what I figured it would be. Barca were never going to overpay for him. Now we need to replace him with quality and we are golden.

Don't look now, but we're at 54 pages before the season has even started! We were around page 20 at the same time last year. 
I feel like I have only contributed about 20 posts of this, mainly because of my distaste for transfer season.
ETA: I just realized that the Liverpool thread is at 61. Is that basically just an IM thread?

They are organized and professional plus they turn subjects like Joe Allen and Clint Dempsey into 15 pages worth of posts each. Plus you can not troll them. I have seen Bho try numerous occasions and fail. The Liverpool thread is ridiculous. But 2nd isnt bad, now is it?
As for our posters. I think we bring some knowledge and are very active also.
