Yeah this might be his last chance to show he can stay healthy. He is a big talent though. Probably was France's best player in '10 WC even if that isn't saying much. Still, seems a silly comparison from Wenger because he isn't a DM.

Ashley Cole is classless. LINK
Why do that to the fans of the club that nurtured you into the player you are today. He is supposed to be a professional. He should try acting like one. Terry and Cole should try and emulate Lampard. He is the only one that acts professionally and has class.

Ashley Cole has been a despicable person for awhile, so no real surprise.

Apparently we've contacted Santos about an official bid for Ganso.

If only we were signing every player Chuba Akpom took a picture with today.

Explanatory note: the Brazilian national team invited some of our reserves to train with then today. Very cool. Awesome experience for those kids.

Looks like City is bringing up the rear in the RVP sweepstakes. LINK

Come on Juve and pony up the cash.

What about their interest in Jovetic? If Juve could keep Pirlo and RVP healthy for the season they would be a big threat in the UCL.

Thats what it looks like they are doing, trying to beef up for a Champions League run. Pirlo to Van Persie will be amazing to watch. That said, screw RVP. As for Jovetic, I dunno, but if I had to guess his price is probably a little too high for Juve's liking.

I would estimate Jovetic being almost double RVP's fee.

Agreed. The real issue is wages though.

Juve is reported to offer RVP 190k a week which surprised me. City or United can't or won't offer much more than that. And if Juve is willing to put up the 20 mill or even close to that I don't see either Manchester clubs going to offer to much more than the 20 or so mill Juve will offer. Basically it all comes down to RVP. I really hopes he goes to Italy.

Personally I would go for Jovetic over RVP at this point. RVP's fitness still concerns me and 20M for a transfer fee + 10M a year for probably 3-4 years is risky for a player at his age. But I do think Pirlo and RVP is a match made in heaven if both play the whole season.

That is the whole thing, Juve have some older players. They want to make a UCL run now. Jovetic is a better long term investment but he isn't close to RVP talent wise as of now, although I'm sure he will get there in time. And players seem to age well in Serie A.
