Heavy rumors that LFC has serious interest and odds went up. I wasn't referring to the odds as proof.

ETA And still, doubt they would put even odds unless they were positive he wasn't going to LFC. Too much of a gamble.

Honestly, I would love to have him. With a pricetag around 12M, I think he is a great buy. If there is one thing Liverpool have negative amounts of, it's pace.

Isn't Walcott a Liverpool fan?

I'd only sell him if he isn't going to re-sign.

I'll be disappointed if Walcott leaves, but if he's not going to re-sign, we have little choice. If we do sell him, we should buy Santi Cazorla from Malaga. Excellent player who could play both wide and centrally for us. I believe Malaga have to sell him and Isco (another prospect we should consider).

I think walcott's best is still in front of him. Would be a shame if he didnt re-sign.

Good shout. I also like Alan Dzagoev but his price may be a little high after the Euros.

I love Cazorla. I followed Villarreal as much as I could when he was playing. Why is Malaga considering selling him? I would have thought he'd be a building block for them?

Apparently the new owners of Malaga don't want to pay off their old debts, so they have to sell Cazorla and Isco. I'd like it if Arsenal bought both players. If there's a firesale at Malaga, I wouldn't mind Toulalan either.

My hope is that eventually some of these sugar daddy owners get tired of running teams and some good players can be got for good prices. I mean, you could make quite the team from Real Madrid's outcasts, and I hope situations like that become somewhat more common.

His price was always going to be high. We should have made a move for him after 2009, especially after his performance at Old Trafford. LINK

Isco is great, I like him a lot. He's the next David Silva...

I think he was supposed to be Silva's replacement at Valencia. But he left the year after Silva left.

I don't see how Juventus is a better option for him than we are. We can pay just as much, if not more for him in salary. They might dominate Serie A next season, but we have an outside shot at winning the premiership if he stays. The CL is a crapshoot, but I'd argue that our squad depth gives us a good shot at reaching the last 8, as long as we get a fortunate draw.

I'll also be disappointed if Miquel goes to Barca. He's our most promising young CB, and he's quite decent on the ball as well.

Yea I thought he did a good job last year when called upon to play with the first eleven. Also thought he was progressing well enough to have a chance at replacing Djourou in the next couple of years. He is still quite young.

Yeah, juve might be his best chance to win *a* trophy next year but definitely seems a sideways move. Unless we get £20+ mil we probably shouldn't sell him. His goals will probably be worth £15mil.

And yeah, the Miquel news is odd. Wenger loves him and he's still young. Plus there's this: LINK

eta: BTW, great gif.

Pretty impressive that we are on the cusp of losing all of our attackers from 2 seasons ago.

Cesc, Nasri, RvP, Walcott, Vela, Bendtner, Arshavin...

And by impressive i mean depressing.

Goal.com reporting that Arsenal told RVP that he is not leaving this summer and the club will risk it and try to resign him at the end of the season. LINK

Also Vela to Sociedad deal nearly completed.
