Apparently the pink panther has the 2nd worst save % in the EPL.

That's how I actually picture every Arsenal supporter.

As I said in the other GK thread, it's a terrible way of viewing keepers. Arsenals defense throughout the year was sporadic, which doesn't help his case.

Glass, your visage and bod are what the Greeks used for sculpting their masterpieces. I actually got a little moist thinking of you chain smoking in your Aaron Ramsey jersey.

I tend to have that effect on dudes. Chicks, not so much.

Barca looking to offload Afellay. Price said to be 6 mill. He is coming of injury but could be worth a shot.

Come on Glassman. You could do so much better.

Article linking us with Ganso. LINK
I think he is worth a gamble depending on the price. He would add much needed depth to our cam or creative mid position. Yea he has had injury problems but if, and that's a big if, he can stay healthy he could really improve us.

If it's a big if, then why should we move for him? If he's on a free transfer, I'm all for it, but adding an injury prone, if talented player, doesn't improve us in a significant way. I don't think this is likely, but I'll be interested to see him during the Olympics.

Remember the match he had against ManU at the end of 2010/2011 season? Plus, he had already had his catastrophic injury. I really think Speed's suicide had a hugely negative impact on him. He'll be back.

Read an article today (probably bullshite - most of them are) that Arsenal are in fact interested in Ganso. The olympics will definitely be a way to gauge where he is right now.
I'm looking forward to the olympics. A lot of young talent on display. With LFC's interest in Gaston Ramirez, I hope he doesn't have a superb tournament to increase his value. His through ball to Suarez in their friendly vs. Chile was

Because he has the potential to become world class. That is why you take a gamble. That and if he were healthy we would not have a shot financially at getting him. Since we can't afford ready made world class stars like Chelski and Man Shitty we need to find other ways of acquiring them. Whether it being taking a gamble on a player with past injuries or taking a shot on a young prospect and try to develop him. The point is we need to be creative in the transfer market to keep up with the sugar daddy clubs.

I understand where you are coming from Glassman. I like Ramsey. Seems like a good kid. He did look the part before Shawcross broke his leg. I think Wenger hung him out to dry last year by continually starting him even though he was off form and it being his first full year back from injury. I hope he can regain his form prior to injury, but if he doesn't soon, I do think his Arsenal career could be in trouble.

We've never been able to afford ready made stars (save for Wiltord, who was coming off an excellent Euro 2000, and Pires, who was tremendously underrated. I'm obviously missing some other players). We've always relied on our scouting network, which is the best in the world at identifying talent. That said, I'd be surprised if Ganso was cheap enough to move for him. It's not like he's some unknown. He's also owned by a third party who will definitely want some compensation for him. Getting crocked players and waiting for them to blossom is pretty much our M.O. right now. The fans are certainly not patient enough to let our players develop. Why would they be for Ganso when they are near apoplectic when Song, Diaby, and Denilson were competing for the other CM spot in 2008, or when Ramsey played the second half of the season?
