Just have him target Clichy this time.
Nah Clichy was never a count about leaving. It was a mutual split mostly. Don't get me wrong the pay raise had something to do with it but Clichy has always treated the Arsenal badge with respect.

We should are talking up this City game quite a bit. Seems to be making a big test even bigger.
We should be talking it up. It will give us a gauge on how close we are to contending. If we get a result it would be huge but not getting any points away to the defending champs is nothing to be ashamed of as long as we give a good showing.

Yea I have been a nervous wreck all week. Trying to decide on Giroud or Gervinho at striker. Will Per be able to handle two very mobile strikers in Tevez and Aguero? This will be one where I will be standing the whole time no matter where I'm watching it.

Podolski ready to make his mark at Arsenal... by getting a club tattoo! Liking this guy more and more. That is the type of character we needed in squad to help guide the younger pros.

If that's a Marxist critique of our rigid socio-economic hierarchy I support it

Wenger: Walcott must sign new Arsenal deal or risk being sold
Sign or be sold: Wenger hints that Walcott could be available in January

Smart move by the club. Theo wants too much money and now that we are doing so well without him he has lost his leverage. He would be smart to sign a slightly improved contract. I would rather him sold in January and replaced.

Awesome. How much money could araenal fetch on the market for him? Not that it would be reinvested into the team or anything.

Seeing as how he would have only 6 months left on his contract come January probably around 7-8 mill.

Yea that is my concern also but I really do believe Arsene would buy a creative winger. We really don't have an out and out winger unless you count Ryo.

Not sure if he'd fetch that much at this point. Depends on how Chelsea and City are doing in January. 'Pool will probably want him regardless (which is kind of surprising because I don't think he fits Rodgers' system...) but those other two may just figure they'll take their chances on a free.

was on my phone though.

Yeah I didn't know he only had 6 months left. Seems like he's been more of a liability than anything. Not sure what kind of club would want him to sign. He's not old or anything, but surprised that he would be feasible for a team like Pool.

I would take Remy. Navas is a pipe dream. Dude is never leaving Spain.

I thought as much until we were heavily linked with him this past offseason.. also Podolski was supposedly homesick just playing in a different german club and we pulled him.

There are rumours circulating that Vermaelen is out of today's game due to illnes.

Big one today boys. We need to remain solid for the first 20 and slowly work our way into the game. I think Gervinho or Ox will step it up for us today. Just a feeling.
