The great offside debate. On the OT in the "soccer is boring" thread.

THE WC HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!

Imagine if the goals were bigger, there were no more offsides (yes, I put the S in there), Lebron played goalie, and players could use their hands. I think I fixed soccer.

Mike Trout is an amazing baseball player, and obviously would have been as good as Messi if he would have chosen soccer.

We only ask soccer fans about their sexual orientation, Dandy.

Nope, he's an outfielder.

This soccer hating thread is pretty tame and not as homophobic as per usual.

The only discussion that can be had legitimately is if someone like Lebron were to train to be a goalie. Yes, the distribution is a huge question mark but let's not act like someone with his physical abilities could not make a terrific goal stopper.

He is just as quick if not quicker than Tim Howard, is 5 inches taller weighs 260 lbs (wider/more mass) and can jump even higher/farther. Lebron is the rarest of cases though...he is one of the most genetically gifted athletes in the history of sports, IMO.

Mike Trout is the Angels center fielder who is very likely the best player in baseball at only 22. He is in his third season, and he has the potential to be one of the greatest ever. The start of his career is almost unparalleled.

Dizzy Trout, whatever the hell. There was a great pitcher named Trout, correct?

Speaking of babe threads, some chick posted an article on Facebook about the 12 reasons to watch the WC (talking about the best looking players), and I was very disappointed in Vogue's choices.

Obvious:
Ronaldo

Good choices:
Giroud
Pique
Marchisio

Meh:
Messi
Glen Johnson
Beckerman (not Mix)
Honda

WTF:
Neymar
Suarez
Yaya Toure

Clearly, Vogue is attracted to earnings and dreads. Mix, Neuer, and Gotze got robbed.

Yeah, but Dizzy Trout pitched for the Tigers mostly in the 1940's.

I was pretty confused because Suarez is legitimately ugly. I would have expected Cosmo to pick him because they probably like that he bites.

This must be American Vogue.

It´s universally accepted that Piqué and Casillas are the most attractive footballers, as per European women. Xabi Alonso makes a lot of lists as well.
