American kid in Barcelona's system...whatever happened to him?

I have no idea how old he is or his name, but was wondering if he was still with them and progressing?

He's still there last I saw, but people got worried bc of the transfer ban about the non eu players under age.

He's still at Barcelona, but I read that the ban has halted youth teams, including his, from youth league play. So he is basically practicing only at this time.

This. He's kind of screwed right now. Can't be in any competitive games so he may not be there for long. He wouldn't be able to compete again until he was 18 if he stays.

Damn. Not being able to play from 15 to 18 would be a major loss. Talk about prime development years, both physically and mentally.
