I coach a local team-I have always had success with the 4-4-2 but I have a young squad and I am not getting the production from my front. Any versions of this or suggestions on how to get more or how to adjust is appreciated. I like offense!!

How young? Are you sure a system change is what's needed to produce more chances?

3-5-2 or a 3-4-1-2. Just watch USA Mexico for notes

A 4312 might work as well

OP; I would do a 3-4-3 variation.

It's impossible to suggest the best option without knowing the age or anything else about your players

What are the strengths of your forwards? Are they strong at holding up the ball? Are they quick and want to dribble? Are they good in the air finishing crosses?

If you are controlling the midfield perhaps try more sessions with the two working off of each other. Use combinations with one forward checking and dummying the ball to the other for a combination around a CB.

Take a look at the strengths of your players and tailor it to those. Good luck!
