This definitely adds to the depth of content for Apple TV but they've been having some very high quality shows.
It’s ok, I had it free bc of my iPhone for a couple years. Nothing great or worth paying for

think that they're both hoping for growing subscriber account since it is around 25M right now. This is better since every game is available.
The point is a majority of people won’t go out their way to download the app and sign up for the random free match a or subscribe to mls pass

Now how many are into soccer is probably a small fraction of that.
Very small but I think that MLS is attempting to capture South American viewers that are still there or have moved to the United States. They want to watch Messi but maybe are interested in seeing how good the MLS league might be.

Can’t believe Benteke had that bad of touch
Reverse angle showed the ball bounced up off the pitch. DCU ground crew needs to get their shite together.

How many fit in DC United's stadium?

Fam come on
People want to watch Messi, but they don’t give a frick about our league
It’s why teams are charging x5 or even more face value for tickets

17k I believe
I still haven’t been. I’ve only been to my home town once in the last four years and probably three times since it opened

It is sort of historic

Yeah I guess I am too optimistic since I want the league to keep ascending

The feed of the Chelsea game on espn is awful. Like they just grabbed an online streaming feed ironically, but one that’s terrible
It 100% has to be from Chelsea Tv
All the advert boards are geared to Brits

Ya, there’s 4-5 games a week that are “free” and in front of paywall on AppleTV

I'm one of those. I'm up to my eyeballs in streaming already, I don't want anymore.
Plus, it definitely hurts marketing the league. There's no ads, promotion, etc for it. If they'd at least put the all star game on Fox/FS1 (their only linear partner now) they could try and draw the casuals in, or maybe even the still skeptical EPL fan who wants to watch Arsenal.

It’s a nice place to watch a game. I can’t believe I’ve been and you haven’t

So that justifies teams pricing out their own fans.

Development of American players to sell to Europe and young SA players to sell off
Aging stars on free transfers isn’t the way

All my boys go to DC Defender games too

I just watch the free games. I’m an FCD fan but they are so boring to watch that I’ll just watch the wrap around show so I can see the goals and highlights

The same fans who weren’t buying tickets before who now want to spend hundreds per game?
Posted on 7/19/23 at 7:59 pm to cwil177
I had to google the DC defenders
Baw why ain’t you growing the sport at the grassroots level?
Saka is unstoppable
Amazing finish by trossard

The fans paying 5 x FV from the club not even secondary market are not MLS fans and won’t be back lol
It’s still not ok to frick over your own fan’s chance to see a match. Fan protection in this country is non existent
It’s a shame the EPL is cheaper than MLS to see in person
