I wonder if someone like Greenwood who played well at the end of the season could fill one of these roles where we currently think a new signing is needed.

Some new names out there today with a bid apparently in for PSG forward Arnaud Kalimuendo and City midfielder Romeo Lavia potentially part of the Kalvin deal.

First game after the long arse break is city at home on boxing day. Hopefully a smoother ride this season because the last 4 games could be tricky. Could do worse than those first few games and it’s nice to open at home. Hopefully something like 7-8 (or more) points from that opening stretch in august.

Greenwood was signed as a striker, then Bielsa decided to switch him to midfield, then back to striker, then he initially played as a striker under Marsch before switching back to midfield. I think he’s the guy they see organically replacing Klich after next season.
