I actually think that is a fair price for him. When he is in form he is great, but he has been sloppy and gotten bullied in every match I’ve seen him play over the last couple years. Now that’s like 8 matches lol, so I could have definitely just seen beyond bad performances.
The two that really stand out are against City last year at the Bernabeu where he was beyond awful and against Hungary in the Euro.
He’ll be a solid player but I don’t think he is an elite player like some do. Now, that could change if he pairs well with Maguire. Varane could be his Ruben Dias.
