Some updates from Sky's Transfer Centre:

Ben Mee is to extend his stay to beyond a decade at Burnley, having signed a new deal.
His existing contract had 12 months still to run and the Clarets have today triggered a clause to keep the long-serving defender until June 2022.

There is a broad agreement between Leicester City and James Maddison over the terms of a new four-year contract.
No paperwork has yet been signed, but it looks like Maddison will be staying at Leicester until 2024.

Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol has provided an update on Chelsea’s pursuit of Leicester left-back Ben Chilwell.
“In the background, talks are under way and plans are being made about Chelsea’s transfer strategy this summer,” he said. “What Frank Lampard really wants is a new goalkeeper, and another left-back.
“His number one target is Ben Chilwell. The problem is he is under long-term contract at Leicester, who are under no pressure to sell.

Bayern Munich will let Thiago Alcantara leave if they receive an offer of €30m this summer.
The Spaniard has rejected a new contract to remain at the Allianz Arena, and Bild report that the player's valuation has now dropped to £25m.

£41 million big accepted from City for Ake
That’s a lot for a back up back up

Nathan Ake's great and £41million seems a good deal for all parties.
Most of all though, I love that Pep Guardiola is signing a centre-back with as many tackles in the defensive third this season as Felipe Anderson.

Ake is a great signing that I’ve wanted for awhile. He is an above average CB and home grown. Could thrive under Pep.
Torres and Ake for a few mil more than what we sold Sane for is great business.
Stones and Otamendi are gone if we can offload them. Garcia will get a chance if he stays but lots of Barca rumors floating about. Ake will get plenty of game time especially if Laporte misses any time.

I like Ake even at 40. Provides depth at CB and LB which is needed. HG. He's pretty quick, which is lacking in our other CBs.

Must have been a ton of interest for Bournemouth to get that much. Thought it be closer to 25

Yes, I thought he would be a bit cheaper as well considering they have been relegated. That is a good chunk of change for them.
I believe Chelsea had first refusal on him, so perhaps that played into the price being driven up.

I think we did. I'm assuming that's why y'all offered so much. Probably priced us out with us still likely signing Havertz, a LB and a GK.

Yup. I read somewhere it was a 40m buyback. Makes sense why we'd offer it and just get it over with.

I was more thinking we would get one attacker, one midfielder, one defender
But Jimenez and Sancho can’t hurt
