As a reminder, Havertz and Thiago Silva are eligible to be drafted. I know they are on the website yet.

The forward options are weaker this year with Auba and Rashford moving to MID and Vardy/Aguero aging.

For sure, I was very tempted to take a high-priced forward, but Salah has three straight years of being an absolute force. I cannot pass on those points.

I was so tempted to sit out this year just to keep an untarnished record.

MID - Marcus Rashford (Man Utd)

Also doing a head-to-head league on the PL app with my friends.

Same as this league except they don't do captains. Which kind of makes since for this format.
Hasn't the owner of Salah or deBruyne won every single time over the past few years?

I won with Salah during his 32 goal season. I just captained him every week, and he outscored the entire opposition team by himself on multiple occasions

Maybe? That might make sense to be honest lol. However, it would lower the scoring in a league that historically has never changed.

If the league wants to change, then we should decide ASAP. Should I put out a quick Google pool?

Leave it unchanged IMO. I like captains.

I had three in the top 18 of points scored last year and finished pretty damn low in the table

Alexander-Arnold (#5), Sterling (#7) and Doherty (#18).

Don't take that as I want it to change by the way. Just pointing out the differences.

I kind of like the captaincy aspect, even if it may skew the scoring.

This is going to be so dumb if somebody gets Messi in the supplemental draft.

All good, it's good to discuss.

Yeah, I am really hoping Messi does not come to the Premier League because of this. I wish it happened before our draft started also...

He could score 300+ points.

Wow. You don't even believe in Harry Kane. Sad.
