In a few years time we went from drunk Schweinsteiger (Röde) to ‘roid Schweinsteiger...what a time to be alive!
If Thiagbro goes, I presume they’ll keep Javi on a 1-year deal and Tolisso, but he’s gotta step it up in 20-21

What kind of growth hormone are they feeding Goretzka?

More than the weisswurst diet they fed Götze...

Sort of hoping Sane fails his physical just for the fallout

Coco hasn't been the same since his injury. It's a shame because he was really impressive before it. Now Goretzka is doing everything he can do but better. Kimmich is amazing too.

He's definitely the trial patient in something precarious that the Germans are cooking up

I guess there are rumors that Thiago is close to signing with Liverpool?
Posted on 7/3/20 at 3:58 pm to McCaigBro69
I can't see it. He has to be pushing close to 30 and he's injury prone. Really good player but if he's not coming on a free I doubt the rumor.

Yea no way
Keita is a similar player for us now so I doubt we need another injury prone, ball carrying midfielder. And he’s a worse fit for our style than Keita I would think

Thiago is way better than Keita

I don't think it's close either. Wasn't Keita not even really playing for Liverpool?

I think they are two different kinds of midfielders, but Thiago is absolutely the type of player we need to help break down defenses...
He is 29, but is pretty much in the same age range as our core...
As seen on twitter, FSG negotiating with Bayern
On paper, a MF3 of Thiago, Keita and Fabinho is

Every time he starts to play himself into form, he was picking up a knock... He has looked amazing at times.. he just needs to stay healthy and get a good run of games..

People don’t realize how good Thiago is because he’s struggled with injuries. He’s one of the best midfielders in the world when healthy.

I think he's absolutely brilliant. I love Thiago. I remember seeing Barcelona tour the states back in 2010 or 2011, and Thiago was the dude who stuck out to me. He makes it looks effortless.

We could sure use a midfielder like him
