Okay, I am really regretting not paying to the transfer thread right now.

Also, I am moving today, so I don't expect to be around all that much in terms of thread updates, but I will make my pick now and then my 3.2 pick for sure and update whenever possible.

MID Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur)

I am assuming Eriksen is moving on, so I think this is the right move.

McCaig is on the clock x 2

It's pretty up in the air, I didn't want to risk a 2nd round pick on him either.

If you aren't aware, you will move to the top of the supplemental draft if you lose a top player from early in the draft.

Saw that, but thanks for the heads up.
Just felt like keeping it simple for my first go-round.

Right, but you are not supposed to intentionally draft someone on their way out. It's kind of a spirit of the rule thing. That being said, if you think there's a realistic chance of a guy staying, then go for it.

For the new guys, I would recommend reading the League Rules in the OP. It's four pages, but it is super helpful and should answer >95% of questions.

I think Eriksen is perfectly fine, though. He really could stay or go at this point. He's not super unsettled or anything. It's not like Diego Costa from a few seasons ago.

ETA: Also, the supplemental draft isn't as good as it once was. So you don't end up with a deep pool of players to pick from.

I had to get a forward there lol.

Hopefully Wilson is still solid after the extension

I was hoping to get Callum, but I got him cheap last year.

I guess since you guys think he could maybe stay, then give me:

MID Christian Eriksen (Tottenham Hotspur)

I might as well lock up the Spurs midfield. I did it last year with City, and it worked well.

Texted GC. Good news is that we are on round 3 in day 2 of the draft.

I expect weekends to be a little slower, so no worries.
