We have two misfiring wingers who are north of 30 and Hazard is probably going. Chelsea would be a way better move right now than going to the team with Salah, Mane and Shaqiri ahead of him

Salah is essentially a forward now. Even when we're in a 4-3-3 and he starts on the wing he drifts inside to more of a forward role. Mane doesn't really have a backup at all. Shaq is the backup to him, Mo, and Bobby who's played more of a false 9/10 role this season. He's in a similar (but more attacking) role that Ox was last year.
Pulisic could have been close to the top of europe in assists a few years ago had PEA finished more tap ins, but it was clear that's where Pulisic shined, when he had a shark up top with pace that made those runs. Salah is that player and I think we'd be even more dangerous than we already are pairing him with Mo.
If we could only sign one player in January i'd want it to be Werner, but the narrative that LFC would be a bad move for Pulisic needs to end. When guys like Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Xherdan Shaqiri all of the sudden go from good player to beast under Klopp, I don't see how there can be a narrative that a move to Liverpool would be a bad move for any player at this point, unless you're a GK.
Frankly, I don't think CP is ready to shoulder the load of being a weekend starter on the wing for a big 6 club. Klopp will play him and develop him though, and he'll be surrounded with elite talent without the pressures of being heavily relied on every week

Mane needs a break and Klopp has been playing a lot more 4231 this season.. We could use another right footed attacker behind the striker... Sure he wouldn't start every game, but thats okay... Its not like he'd walk into the Chelsea 11 every match... but a move to LFC would be far from his worst choice
I just want another attacker.. an attacking mid or a versatile striker... it doesn't have to be Pulisic.. in fact, there's probably a lot more value and/or attainable targets elsewhere...

I understand it was just Spurs activating a club option to extend a year, that always included the £25mm release clause...

If true, so long to his career for a couple years. I’d give him two years with the club before he realizes he’s destined to be a bench player, and demands loan/transfer to a mid-table club somewhere in Europe on par with clubs like west ham or arsenal......which is where he should be.
