This week, Loaf Pinchers FC tried to sneak an extra player onto the team sheet to make up for the 10 man effort the previous week. The manager listed Roberto Pereyra as a starter and the first sub from the bench, all while the player was injured and wouldn't play anyway (maybe the manager should lay off the booze). In the end, this move did not matter as Sergio Agüero and Kevin De Bruyne led the team to its third victory. No Pereyra, No Problem!

Just wanted to point out that you wouldn't get any points for Sakho here. Rosters have 3 bench fielders and 1 bench GK. The remaining player is on your IR spot and is not available to be subbed in. So your score for the round should be 34 points.

That is correct. That transaction is voided.

34 points is the confirmed score.

Wait there's a time period for moves? Haha, you can tell how often I add/drop.

Why do we have a window for transactions?

We always have. I typically try to put it in the OP.

We have a window so you do not make moves while matches are played. We just have always locked lineups before all matchups start because there is no real site.

In a normal match week, it has just always been between Wednesday at 9 am to Friday at 11:59 pm. It's somewhat mirrored after fantasy football

Gotcha. But shouldn't this be encouraged? Shouldn't we reward those who exercise their due diligence watching as much as they can? I mean, we have to post our lineups before kickoff so its not like we could make a transaction then insert it into our weekly 11 during the middle of the games.

No worries, will abide by the rule no problem. Just bringing up some food for thought. I think those who put in the effort to follow all the games should be rewarded for making a quick move if they see potential. Rule change can't happen this season obviously since we've already started, but maybe something to consider for next year.

While I know a game of fastest finger is somewhat inevitable, holding off until Wednesday gives people a chance if they cannot see everything live or if they don't want do it while watching a game.

Imagine if Sturridge was a FA, gets the start, scores a hat trick, and plays 90 healthy minutes. Everyone wants to add him right away, but you may be at a disadvantage because you care about Liverpool and are intently watching, instead of on your computer or phone.

I don't know, but I like the current process. Just thinking out loud.
