I just don't understand why he would want to waste seasons not playing UCL matches this late in his career

I've seen some talk about Memphis being out, IF anyone will even take him. Not sure if I believe that.
Apparently Pep is keen on keeing Navas next season. Don't blame him at all.

We're good with kun and nacho. Pep doesn't run a two striker set. If they're both down go false 9 with KDB, Nasri, or Silva.
Plus, Pep and Ibra?

Vardy apparently passed his medical

The good news in this for Leicester? Of the big 3, I (my opinion only) think Vardy is the most replaceable. For the money they can get for a nearly 30-year-old striker, cash in now and go buy some goals. If they somehow held on to Kante and Mahrez (I know might not happen) and got paiiiiidddd for Vardy, that's a good deal for LC.

With the Vardy money + the money from winning it all and qualifying from the UCL, Leicester could throw a stupid amount of cash at a scoring machine, most likely a big leaguer from the teams outside the UCL.

Lots of sources reporting United have met Eric Bailly's €40m release clause

A real deal CB who is young and has starter experience in a big league? Praise be.

Agreed. They can definitely gain from this
