City are also supposedly working on a 50 mil pound deal for Benjamin Mendy.
for a LB?? How in the hell is he valued higher than Silva by Monaco... doesn't make sense???

I was reading 45mm for Kyle Walker!!

Bc it's City

All English teams pay over the odds but they do it the most

It is what it is.

I get it (I guess)..

I just don't see how Monaco would slap a 43mm price tag on Silva and a 50mm price tag on Mendy...

If Mendy is 50mm, surely Silva is +70mm

Mendy is also rumored to be the next signing in a 39 mil pound deal.

You guys are already on track for the biggest spenders ever

Will be interesting to see how the squad gels with so much turn over again

Lol coming from a supporter of a club who literally broke the all-time transfer fee record for a player they let go for nothing.

I said it yesterday, the rumor was that Pep was going to have to 250 mil to spend this summer.

W/ Silva in, if Mendy is true then there's 85-110 mil right there. I say that wide margin because I've seen like 20 different figures

BBC, Sky Sports and Sam Lee all reporting the fee for Silva is 43.6 mil pounds - flat. No add-ons.

Reading comprehension isn't your strong point

Even with the Pogba transfer City still spent more than United.

It's amazing that United has stayed in the top half with how little money they've spent in the last 4-5 years. No idea how they've managed to keep pace with City.

Doesn't really matter what I would be willing to take, but there are certainly scenarios where the season could be seen as a success even in the absence of trophies.

Yes.

I could completely see Arsenal somehow winning a shite ton of games if they field a b-team for the Europa League.

If Chelsea/United/Arsenal/Spurs put up like 96-100 points and have a crazy season I mean what can you do? I'd like to see us win something at the very least, but I'd be satisfied w/ a top four finish and a quarter/semifinal Champions League run.

if we drop the dead weight, I could see this happening.
I want us to play the kids in Europe, so we can focus on the league. But I won't complain if we make it far lol
