I'd also be ALL for a 40 mil bid for Wilshere.
99.9% of Arsenal fans would disagree with me, but I would be all for it.

Sergio Ramos has asked to leave Real Madrid. Accompanied by his brother and agent, René Ramos, the defender told club general director José Ángel Sánchez of his intention to seek a transfer this summer. The meeting was held at the behest of Sánchez and therefore took place at Valdebebas instead of at the Santiago Bernabéu. At the meeting, Ramos is understood to have asked the club to listen to offers for him.
It was the first time the player and the club's hierarchy have met since AS broke the story that the defender wishes to leave Real Madrid this summer having not received a contract renewal offer to his liking. Ramos, who current deal expires in 2017, earns six million euros net a year at the Bernabéu and is seeking a rise to 10 million, in line with the club's highest earners.
Relations between Ramos and club president Florentino Pérez are thought to have broken down but the player, in whatever case, needs to reach an agreement with the club either to remain at the Bernabéu or to leave after 10 years as a Real player: his release clause stands at a prohibitive 200 million euros, which Manchester United will not pay under any circumstances. The Premier League club, as AS has reported, are preparing an offer of 30 million euros plus goalkeeper David de Gea for Ramos. The Bernabéu wants the 24-year-old Spain international to replace Iker Casillas.

Exactly. I love Jack. He is just constantly injured, we have options in the middle that are just as good if not better, and 40 million pounds is a lot of fricking money.

Lol yup. 50 million is nothing. Especially when FFP is supposedly going to be laxed this transfer window.
I'd also be ALL for a 40 mil bid for Wilshere. Probably won't happen, but I can dream.
fricking City fans

Also rumors that Ramos has already started talks for a new deal and this was all a ploy.

Arsenal is in win now mode.
So is Real Madrid. Their managers actually get sacked for not winning league titles.

If you can't tell the difference between the two situations I don't know I how to help you

So I should put Arsenal down for a league title this year?

Wilshere's last two injuries have both been serious contact injuries, it's not like he has niggling muscle injuries like Diaby or Sturridge. He looked great to end the season, and is the perfect player to break down those packed defenses we saw Swansea and Sunderland use. Not to mention he's scored three wonder goals in last like two starts. Not to mention he's been England's best player in the past year and fricking loves Arsenal. You can't replace that, even with 40 million pounds.
In regard's to Koscielny and Madrid being entirely different situations, I agree. Madrid just buys whoever they want, they rehaul and revamp their team based on Perez's whims. A lot of the time it pretty much works bc they're Real Madrid. Wenger has been slowly but surely building this Arsenal side for 4 going on 5 years now, getting incrementally better each year. It's finally ready to seriously challenge, on paper, for a PL title for the first time this decade, and Kos' is a HUGE part of this side.

Chelsea are ready to offer £35.5 million plus Mohamed Salah to Atletico for Antoine Griezmann.

It would be an amazing signing if you guys could pull it off though. He's probably my favorite player in Spain.

Always liked the way he plays. He's always the first guy I buy when I start a manager mode with City haha.
