Sharp playing off wood could be dangerous. Antenucci as well. I would have a huge erected penis if we could sign antonio from forest

1-1 draw

Sounds like Phil enjoyed Erwin's pace and quickness...Morison scored but missed a few easy goals as well.

Would like to see:

Ajose-Wood-Erwin

for next preseason match

In excited to see if maybe walters can develop into a left sided option. I would like to keep ajose too. One of the few players willing to run at defenders.

Ajose is a possible option on the left side but he likes to cut inside with a goal scorers mentality. Doesnt seem to have a good left footed cross. Would mean that the left back or left mid would need to push up for proper width.

Leeds United are one of a number of ?Championship clubs? interested in securing the services of Sunderland winger Will Buckley.

Buckley joined the Black Cats from Brighton only last summer, for a fee of £2.5m, but has failed to impress at the Premier League outfit and made just two appearances for the club after Gus Poyet, who brought him to the club, was sacked as manager.

With Buckley seemingly not a feature in Dick Advocaat's first team plans, a move away from the club appears imminent, and Leeds are leading the race for his signature, as Whites boss Uwe Rosler seeks a complete overhaul of the squad.

Signed with Wednesday to play with Stevie May

Still available... dunno why he hasn't been grabbed yet.

BTW: Did you see Chris Wood's side netting shot from the friendly? Guy has a canon for a right... that is Lee Erwin running beside him, didn't know he was that tall.

yea, erwin looks the part for sure. i really hope we keep sharp. it's a lot of mouths to feed but bewteen wood, erwin, sharp, antenucci, doukara and morison that is a nice group as far as challenging for the playoffs. plus antenucci and doukara have shown they can play out wide which will benefit them in the 4-3-3.

i hope phillips has a good preseason because i feel he is going to be this year's cook

I see the central striker being 1. Wood 2. Morison 3. Erwin... so if Billy is going to be a factor, it will likely be from wide (if we play 4-3-3), which isn't his best position. If Rosler decides to go 3-5-2, I could see Billy being paired well with Wood though, so it all depends.

Kalvin will be given a shot, especially with Murph out, but I have a feeling we will bring an experienced mid in and he may get a couple of matches doing clean up duty for the most part this season.

I like all of our strikers TBH and would hate to have to choose one to go, but as it sits now we'll never see Walter or Parkin get a shot at first team action (espcially if we bring in a winger like Buckly or Maguire)

Will be interesting to see how the rest of preseason plays out. Rosler said that next week the shifts will be 90 minutes for some, and 60-70 for a few others, so I think we will have a better idea as to his start XI then.

i expect at least two more signings, a winger and a backup GK. ideally we'll add another CM but bianchi coming back could possibly be like a new signing of sorts.

rosler sayshe expects a few players to leave. i could see morison and a couple of foreigners heading out. will be interesting to see where bellusci fits in. statistically he and bamba were our best CB partnership but i just feel safer with cooper out there given bellusci is a walking red card.

berardi became one of my favorite players by last season's end because of how he turned things around and became so reliable.

Well looks like Sharp is headed to the Blades. Ajose to League 1 somewhere. And apparently Dawson isnt passing the smell test, so he's likely gone.

Read an article where Sunderland are selling Bridcutt and Buckley...likely for close to what they paid... sadly we wont be in for either.

Rosler was playing Sloth at left wing yesterday...ok, Hockaday...

looks like sharp is poised to rejoin sheffski united

man i really thought he could hit 12-18 goals for us in the right setting. i actually don't want to sell morison anymore because he has been in pretty good form going back to the end of last season and we'll need him while wood is out.

dawson has talent but he's so damn tiny. dude got crushed on his debut a couple years ago. even robbie rogers thought the game was too physical for him. i wouldn't mind loaning him out to donny or york or somewhere local.

Depth Chart and Likely Line-Up for Opening Match

--------------------Silvestri--------------------
-------------------(Turnbull)

-Berardi------Belluschi------Bamba--------Taylor
(Wootton)----(Cooper)

------------Cook-----Adeyami-----Mowatt---------
-----------(Murphy)--(Sloth)----(Bianchi)
-----------(Phillips)

--Byram--------------Wood----------------Dallas
-(Antenucci)--------(Erwin)-----------(Doukara)

Transfer List: Ajose, Morison

Youth Players who may get senior matches: Lewis Walters, Ross Killock

Thin on wings and should add another defender in a perfect world. But I'm actually digging the more streamlined squad.

Getting between 500k and 1 mil for 20% sell on of Max Gradel.

Morison left club today, Millwall paid out his contract (like we did with Sharp last season)

Bamba announced as captain.

Good day for the club. Really hope we bring in one more player.

In an interview, Pearson hinted to the possibility of a couple more signings (maybe). I have to think those will be loans.

I think we need to bring in a centerback, and another wide player (Doukara can play left but in all reality, he isn't particularly good at it). I can see a need for a striker, but I think having Wood, Erwin and Doukara with the ability to play the strong central striking role, it isn't quite as important.
