it doesn't matter if we sign defenders today or in a month... they'll be brought in, we're still trying to go for our top 2 targets.. Lovren and Moreno..

It doesn't matter how much you think you can out score the other team. When you have a weak back line it will bite you in the arse and teams you are clearly better than now become a threat. When a Pulis coached team can put 3 on in in 20mins something in the philosophy is def not there.

both are good two way players and Herrera can easily sit back and play the holding role which he might end up doing but who knows with LvG
Shaw fits the United mold to a the blueprint with his style of play.
We still need two solid CB's. Attack wise we are fine.

I know you had depth issues and it will be a big concern esp with a season with more games and vs better competition.
In the Champions League a lack of quality and depth in the back will get exposed rather fast. Just asked City.
