I think it had to do with a possible Pogba or Vidal sale giving them the funds... may be too late..

Supposedly the only thing holding up the Suarez deal now is the payment arrangement... a few reports say we are asking for the whole thing up front..

SSN reporting debuchy and Sanchez will be finalized in the next 48 hours. makes sense because our kit launch is on July 10th. what better way to drum up sales than announcing two big signings on the same day.
