AS Monaco, the world's richest stepping stone.

Honestly, if we can't get Sanchez, I would love to go after di Maria... I've read he's dismissed ManU, due to no UCL...
Also, I know its been talked about as him and James going in opposite directions, but as we see with Suarez/Sanchez, thats not always the case...
If Falcao and James leave, we have to be the more attractive option, unless its strictly about money (I know he's bitched at RM about contracts before)

Would assume net. I don't think he's paying income tax. Not sure how his cost of living would be affected, though

some spanish TV station says the fee between barca and pool has been agreed. 75m euros is what they're reporting. barca need to sell sanchez to get the funds though. hopefully arsenal close that deal soon!

Ive been reading that and see some discrepancy between euros and pounds..
and there is this..

To say a fee is agreed not entirely true. #LFC told Barca they will sell for release clause not for less. Barca say they will meet it

€79.2M is what as.com says.

Well, I think regardless od price it looks like a deal will be done soon and for cash only...
Hopefully, Barca is leaking their "Neymar" accounting numbers..

If so, we better have a replacement already lined up. Otherwise, idiotic business.

Sturridge
Lambert
Sterling
Borini
And 80M to figure it out.
Forgive me if I don't shed any tears.

Pretty clear Sanchez prefers Arsenal over Pool. Big questions are how much he favors arsenal and how willing are Barca to accommodate his preferences? Bc the deal would no doubt be easier if Barca just included Sanchez in the Suarez deal. Is Sanchez willing to hold up that deal to go to Arsenal over pool? We'll see

I wonder if Sanchez's preference is purely about London or if it has anything about style of play? Because no doubt I think he would be better fit at Liverpool than at Arsenal - not that he'd be out of place at Arsenal - far from it. Just better with what Liverpool did last year.
I'd prefer Sanchez in the deal for Suarez - mostly because once the Suarez deal is done, finding another world class attacker without a "you just got a sh$% ton of money" add-on will be very difficult.

yedlin to liverpool?
Would love Rodgers to get his hands on him for a consistent basis, but the kid is nowhere near playing for 'Pool on a regular basis (unless our plan is to be even more wide open on defense). He'd need to be loaned out to work on his defense for year or two. And I would hate Yedlin to ride the pine at this point in his development.

Did somebody say loan?

Could be London, could be wages, and as good a job as Rodgers has done at pool Wengers name still holds more cache abroad so you can never discount that

Also, whoever's saying we'll have 80M to play with, it'll actually be 60.
ETA: Unless you're talking euros.
