Thanks. I meant Charlton (felt strange when I typed Busby).

you guys have spent 100m on 3 players since january and you've got so much more to go. that's fun.

Well this certainly screws up my FIFA team.

Hopefully we unload afro man and get some money back
Its a shame moyes overpaid for Mata
But these two guys could be regulars for the next 10+ years so its a good investment I don't see use spending this much for players the rest of the window.

So what is the deal with foreign clubs and La Liga buyout clauses? I was under the impression that it could get complicated if the owner didn't want to play ball. Or did Herrera have a separate release clause?

So much money. Was hoping for a cheaper move for a guy like Blind or Rodriguez.
Posted on 6/26/14 at 2:53 pm to joey barton
I believe he had to buy out his own clause or some shite like that.

Yeah, I was just kind of surprised that the summer negotiations weren't protracted
Not like they've had a year to organize the transfer, or anything

Not sure how Shaw deal got moved up 3 million but at that point wtf is 3 million if he will be on the team the next 12 + years if everything goes right.
I think LvG wont spend more than around 20 million on a player rest the window. If he does we wont spend that much the next couple years.

even balague was reporting this morning they had a bid shot down, but that it was eventually going to happen, and soon. guess they just tried one last time to get under the release clause fee
a wild price for any LB, including shaw, but we've hashed out that issue pretty well. if i was man U i'd have gone for ricardo rodriguez, but i'm happy that they didn't

Indeed. Rodriguez looks awesome. And he has produced. Shaw is a shite load of potential at this point, like every other young English player.

an offensive fullback who had 1 assist and 0 goals in 35 league matches. not nearly as good yet as people make him out to be. amazing fee for a LB who is largely potential.
