Of course he feels slighted, none of the players at City have any respect for the club. They know they can rape them for more $$$. Glory whore clubs like city have a team of hired assassins, none have loyalty to the club, just the cash. They know they can pull this every year and the whores will pay their price.
you must be a liverpool fan. how does 2nd place feel?

Nope, it's the facts
City players are hired assassins for the EPL title. Same as the PSG hired help and Monaco hired help. None of Cities players care about MAn City, it's a huge payday, that's all it is.
Players are using the club for inflated wages. They really don't want to be there, but they wont get any where near the wages that these glory whores will pay any where else.

That's pretty much true for all players at the professional level. And why shouldn't they seek out more money. They might have ten years at the top level to get as much money as they can. Just because a player is getting paid a shite ton doesn't he can't care about winning.

rumors are manu has offered Southampton close to 50mil for Luke shaw.
lulz no just no
no one is paying 50 million quid for an 18 year old LB, United made a 27 million bid the other week.

Also, Louis van Gaal has a war chest of 250mil+ to buy.
where the frick are you getting this from. He is bringing in 4 to 6 players top.

DAILY STAR: Liverpool's hopes of signing England midfielder Adam Lallana before the World Cup have stalled due to Southampton's £25m valuation.

The Daily Mirror says this morning that Liverpool are making a move for Spain World Cup star Pedro. It is reported that they have already made a discreet approach to Barcelona about the striker – and were told the 26-year-old is available at the right price. Brendan Rodgers is thought to regard Pedro as the perfect player to complement his devastating duo of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.

More from the Daily Mail's story that Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos. The paper says a £20million deal for the German international was agreed while David Moyes was still at the club and that Louis van Gaal has given his approval for the move to go ahead.
20 mill is a lot less than I thought he would be

20 million for Kroos but 25 for Lallana?
Geez...that English surcharge really hurts.
Is it too late for us to get in on the Kroos bidding?

For realz, Liverpool needs to work on that back line and get a holding mid. BR hasn't been too great in his time at Liverpool in the transfer market.

Really, it was being turned down for/missing out on guys the last two windows were our only issues - he brought in Cou, Sturridge, before that. He clearly reached for some guys last fall after missing out on some guys that really raised their stature/status this past year.
Can you imagine if we had convinced Costa to come to 'Pool last summer? Or the Mrythghthght guy who disappointed a bit at Dortmund, but is still clearly a decent player and would have done well under BRs system?
I'm very interested to see how he does this year now that we don't have the "haven't been in CL for a few years" stigma.

I think the Sturridge buy was like frick it what can go wrong b/c he was just swept aside by 2 clubs already. For 15 mll the book is still out on Sakho big time.

Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos and are set to make a stunning move for his team-mate Arjen Robben. A £20million deal for Kroos was agreed when David Moyes was still in charge at Old Trafford and his successor, former Bayern coach Louis van Gaal, has said the move can go ahead. Kroos, 24, flourished under Van Gaal at Bayern and is keen to work under his old coach again.
Robben o no

Those figures are in dollars
$250=150 GBP
$50=30 GBP
Well, he's 18 and established in the Premier League. That's going to come with a big premium. You already have a great idea of what he can do at that level today and avoid a significant portion of the risk that comes with buying very young players. If 30 million GBP means that you don't have to worry about the position for 10-15 years, that's not bad business.

Because he is 18 and played for a mid-table team. Baines would be a better buy, hell so could Gibbs.

Apparently City will announce Sagna signing today.
This better not mean less Zabaleta

So about getting English players

the kroos price difference (though i still think it's more likely he goes on a free next summer) is because he only has one more year on his contract. a deal may have been reached between ManU and Kroos contract wise, but i really don't think any fee between Bayern and ManU has been agreed and it seems super unlikely that they would sell him this year. also seems super unlikely that they can convince Bayern to sell Robben.
Certainly seems Cesc is for sale. Balague reported yesterday Arsenal didn't have a buy back clause. now today he reports we do but it's worthless.
i have a pretty strong feeling we'll bring him back, even though i have no idea the best way to integrate he and özil into the same squad. not an awful problem to have, i suppose though.
pedro to pool would be interesting, but doesn't he have Sterling? confused why that says he thinks Pedro is the perfect counterpart to those two when they had a pretty dang good 3rd wheel this season
would be so very much in the mold of this year's Liverpool to buy two offensive players before shoring up the defense.
sagna getting paid. can't blame us for not matching that offer. that is özil money. can't compete with the wealth of a nation offering that shite to a 32 yo RB/CB.
and as for shaw, anytime you buy a player that is 22, 23 or below, you're expecting to get 5-10 years out of him. not sure why everyone is now using this to justify the outrageous figure for Shaw. it's outrageous, but they have the money so oh well. gotta disagree glass, i love gibbs and he's great when healthy, but he's too injury prone. and baines is too old. they're overpaying, but shaw is a safer buy than those two.

I would jump in..
One report this morning says ManU has ended their interest in Kroos (the guardian... yeah, I know)
I like Lallana and I guess I get £20mm (15+5 english premium), but more than that is too much.. Though I think he will be a really get player at any cost and I love his versatility..
Kroos is versatile too and would be an excellent pick up.
But all in all, Lallana had more goals and assists (9/6) in the EPL last season, than Kroos had (2/4) in the Bundesliga, so he does have a record of production in this league...

What a garbage piece of journalism. Kroos "flourished" under van Gaal? LvG didn't want anything to do with him. Kroos broke out on loan with Jupp at Leverkusen then again when Jupp took over at Bayern.
Kroos was an awkward attacking mid who was scared to play a forward pass until Jupp really got his hands on him.
