Essien was on loan. Malouda was frozen out of the first team.

Adam Maher signed 5 yr deal with PSV Eindhoven.

Was curious if Maher would make a move out of Holland but I suppose he replaces Dries Mertens that just signed for Napoli.

express reporting that arsenal bid £23m for Lars Bender. don't get your hopes up though gunners, the no was categorical.

Twitter abuzz with rumors of Beowulf to Frankfurt for £4.5m pounds. would be an incredible fee! he and mannone (for £3m) hauling in more than expected.

also djourou expected to go to Hamburg. if he plays for 10,000 hours there he might one day become the best in the world.

Frankfurt has been after him for a month or so, trying to get him to agree to personal terms has been the hard part.

One less reason for Jozy to stay at AZ. I was expecting Maher to make a bigger move, any idea what PSV paid for him? Has to come close to what Ajax paid for Sujlemani a few years ago.

6.5m I believe. Makes me chuckle that Zaha went for 15m and Ince is about to go for 9m.

I've tried many times to figure out the logic in transfer valuations, I've decided that there is no rhyme or reason and I've stopped trying to figure it out Seems like small clubs regularly get raped for their players. Players from lesser known footballing nations almost always cost less than they should.

I'm still waiting for BVB to splash some of their new found riches. CE looks inevitable, but still no word. I read where they are using Sokratis as Piszczek's back up, what a joke.

Galatasaray are in negotiations with Schalke for the 8mm purchase of Jefferson Farfan. Schalke could probably get a little more for him, but it's clear they are fully dedicated to the youth movement. They also officially locked up Leon Goretzka, the 18 year old from Bochum.

He's what you guys need, great player. I have to say at 23mm he'd be a steal. Leverkusen would be a bit silly to sell him this summer. They have enough to deal with after losing Schurrle and Carvajal. Schurrle has been replaced, but the last thing they need to do is lose their midfield pulse.

Pisz is hurt, they should just put Großkreutz at right back.

Watzke kind of shrugged off the Eriksen talk so I don't know. They should buy Eriksen and Bernard for starters, IMO

If there is any validity behind the Torres rumor what do my fellow Gooners think if it actually happened? Personally I'm not a fan of his but very conflicted on the possibility.

Damn, they got him by acquiring the Allocation Order’s first pick from Toronto... whatever that means.

Weird move by a team that has been getting rid of salaries.
