The sweetest thing I´ve seen so far, is that second Chelsea kit. Very clean.
I´m still quite fond of this year´s Nike Chesire cats for Arsenal and Atlético de Madrid.

I think it´s the photo, it´s probably navy. I hope to God it doesn´t go through.
That said, could be sweet for Valencia. It´s not bad looking at all, simply bad for Real Madrid. Not that I consider them superior to Valencia, but that contrast doesn´t belong on a Real strip.
Real Madrid need an impollute optic white throwback, I don´t care how old fashioned it looks (as in a winged collar, lace up neck), but all white, Adidas ought to do the stripes in satin or sheen if they want, or better yet, a few tones darker, of the same material, and be done with it. Bad enough they´ll have Fly Emirates (not that I was a BetWin fan, for sure).
The red-orange piping and crew neck, don´t get it. At all.

That's who I thought when I saw it.
As for the all-white idea, it would be really hard to pull off. Adidas is big about the stripes being a different color. I personally thought the white with gold stripes last year was one of their best kits.

First they steal our player, now our jersey

Always love it when clubs pick random colors for clash kits that look ridiculous with their logos.
If you're going to go with different colors, recolor your logo like Chelsea did with the Bumblebee kits this year. Otherwise it looks like you just sewed the logo on a blank kit you picked up at Academy Sports.

Just noticed the two-tone body.

Sadly, I would take it over a certain rumored 3rd kit.

Stoke photo.
Guy on left, stoned.
Guy on right, sober, and is saying, "what the f$%@ am I wearing?".

GeauxColonels et. al.,
Rumor is that the new American owners will change the AS Roma badge and the idea is drawing sheer venom from the fan base.
I believe that the main reason for a change is that the City of Roma owns the Capitolina wolf image (the one with the female wolf feeding Romlus and Remus) and the club has to pay/clear permission to use it. That must not fly too well with Nike's aims.
I think a "modernized" crest would be a PR disaster for a fan base as crazily traditional as Roma's. However, I think a good idea would be to simply make a "new" design from wolf crest (used from 1979 through 1997 and still on away kits):
and work an older style ASR script into the design, like in the early crests shown here:
Curious, if you or anyone else I see post cool designs here have any ideas? Would be cool to see them before whatever Nike consults on is released.

Interesting. This is the first I've heard of this.

Yeah, I'm not certain of all the legal issues but the Lupa Capitolina image is definitely owned by the city and my understanding is that AS Roma has been paying a nominal fee (or at times a free though contractual waiver) to date to use it. With the new worldwide marketing blitz that seems on the horizon with Nike, I'm guessing the idea is to start that campaign fresh with a shield that has no possibility of claims as revenue starts to mount.
I'm a bit horrified that Nike may "help" come up with something marketed designed toward those who love Barca's flaming orange kits.
Also, Nike won't make Roma's kits until 2014 so rumor has it that this next year's kit will be a company (Asics is the rumor) that supposedly will makes one-offs for the season without their name on the kit.
