2012 EPL Survivor Contest Week 1 (Jan 21-22)

First off, thanks to everyone that participated last weekend. It was valuable experience for me as I try to stay out in front of this thing. To those who selected correctly, I'll list you momentarily so as to stroke your egos. As for the rest of you, we're pointing and laughing at you...do better.
Congrats to:
xavierTIGER (that's me), S, Bho, rojotiger (early season favorite to repeat), Glassman, MisterDoctorMister, ARFF406, Vicks Kennel Club, Gmorgan4982, and TN Bhoy (I went with the original City because "MON" is not an option).
Anyway, on with the show. Again, the rules are as follows:
1. Select a side.
2. Away draws and wins go through. Home draws and losses disqualify you from the competition.
3. You may only select any given side one time. After which, that side is no longer eligible for selection to you.
note: If you aren't familiar with how a survivor contest works, just pick a team this week and you'll catch on quickly. I was surprised to find that the concept was lost on a friend of mine...you know who you are.
Sat. January 21st
Norwich v Chelsea (Carrow Road)
Everton v Blackburn (Goodison Park)
Fulham v Newcastle (Craven Cottage)
QPR v Wigan (Loftus Road Stadium)
Stoke v West Brom (Britannia Stadium)
Sunderland v Swansea (Stadium of Lights)
Wolves v Aston Villa (Molineux Stadium)
Bolton v Liverpool (Reebok Stadium)
Sun. January 22nd
Manchester City v Tottenham (Etihad Stadium)
Arsenal v Manchester United (Emirates Stadium)
Selections must be posted by 6:30am CST on Saturday. Also, I will be selecting an FA cup match from the weekend of Jan 28th which if you correctly predict will allow you one "mulligan". However, only people who successfully progress past this week will be eligible. Good luck ladies.

Basically, it was determined late last Friday that the contest wasn't going to be returning for the second half of the season. However, several people expressed an interest in keeping it going so I decided to pick it up and run with it. But, I felt it was too close to the start of the games to rush it and that too many people would be left out so I did a trial run with no eliminations for everyone's benefit. The real contest starts this week and is open to all posters.
