I agree, stick around for the rest of the season and take another look in the summer. At least that way we have time to bring in a strike partner for Suarez (Maybe his fellow Uruguayan, Cavani)...

Like you said, maybe a top 4 finish...CL football may keep him here.

Although, if they are going to throw in a player with the cash, I'll take Essien

plus in the summer if you were determined to cash in on him you could probably get a bidding war going.

As it is now you wouldn't even have the time to turn around and spend the new cash so what would the point be?

'Pool confirm Torres wants out.

Not sure how much of a bidding war could really get started. MCFC wouldn't be involved. Maybe Barca. Probably not Real Madrid.

I think Juve and Inter may join...

I dont think he ever go to RM, due to his Atleti roots...

Not surprising. Good for 'Pool.

As for a potential bidding war, I'm still not sure any of the Italian clubs would go any higher than 40 mil pounds and I'm even less sure Torres would want to play there.

I've developed my own idea about this Torres saga:

This will be Torres' last season at Anfield IMO. They'll sell him this summer. Probably to Chelsea. And probably in the 40-50 million range.

Here's where it gets interesting.

IMO, I could see Pool going to a place where they've pulled talent before. Atletico Madrid.

Pool sells Torres. Buys Aguero.

Aguero, 22 and Suarez, 25, make up L'Pool's strike force for the next 5 years.

If it happens, bookmark this shite and give me props.

I don't know if this has been suggested but I think LSU should have Shepard touch the ball more.

I'm not denying that would be quite nice for you though. What's Kun's buyout again?

Anytime an American is playing in Europe's best domestic league, it is a good thing. I am very excited about this.

i'm with you, I don't really care when they play in Italy, france, spain...etc. I just love it when they're in the PL.

It's great when you're already watching games that you'd watch anyways, and stuhawk goes bounding across the screen. Plus I nearly got killed last week for saying Americans were taking over their league, so I'd just like for that prophecy to come true.
