I'm just glad Tevez got to rest. We are now pretty much guaranteed a spot in Europa 32. I'm looking forward to getting Mario back to see what he can do with Tevez up front. AJ and Silva especially have done a great job distributing well to Tevez and taking their shots when necessary. I haven heard anything on YaYa, but we've got a little while for Kolorov and and Balotelli to come back. If this team can just keep us close to Chelsea, those fresh additions will mirror adding top notch players over the transfer window.

I'm relieved that DeJong is back on form. I think the controversy really hurt his confidence and the Bpool game showed a much more timid defender. DeJong is an enforcerer and this young defense needs q fearless leadership. This Arsenal game will be a huge test.

Well, I don't know if de jong will perform well against arsenal. IMO he performs best against teams that break quickly where he can make the key tackle to slow it down. Arsenal build rather slowly, so I wouldn't expect de jong to stand out. He will certainly be in the lineup. I don't mind having YAYA out with how well silva is playing in the ACM. I too am interested in seeing balotelli, kolarov, boateng, et al.

True, I think that deJong is better on those fast break teams, but arsenal is going to be thrown of hopefully on Sunday. We need the midfield to apply some pressure and get the gunners off their game

That's why I am thinking we will go 4231. Hopefully that will give us some presence in the midfield.

I'm hoping we go 4231 as well. Play Yaya and De Jong at CDM, with De Jong a little behind Yaya. Put Silva in the middle, Milner and Johnson on the wings, and Tevez up top.

Should be able to take advantage of both Yaya and Silva on offense, and be flexible enough to play more of 4-5-1 and clog up the middle when Arsenal attacks.

I'm a little worried about Kolo being out though.

While I like the yaya and de jong pairing, I wouldn't be surprised to see de jong and barry back there as mancini likes those CDM that he knows he can trust. He has leaned on the barry/de jong combo in the past. Do we know if Kolo is gonna sit this one out? If I had to guess the back line would be zabaleta, lescott, kolo, and richards.

interesting. I would put kolo above boyata as he looked a little unsteady yesterday.

According to someone on a City board, Kolo wasn't in uniform at Friday's practice. He practiced today, but only did very light work. Probably out for Arsenal, but will be back next weekend.

Super Mario has been practicing, and its only a matter of time until he's back.

City still getting a lot of chances with ten men. Richards just wide on the shot.
