Richards Stretchered Off
quote:
Manchester City defender Micah Richards was stretchered off during England Under-21's game against Denmark Under-21s with an apparent hamstring injury. The full-back left the game within the first five minutes after pulling up after making a run forward.

Tough stretch coming up....Pool and United then a little lull with Blackburn and West Ham, then Everton and Tottenham.
Should be interesting....do we make top 4? Does Dzeko finally show the promise (I'm a believer!)? and the big one, does Mancini keep his job?
To add to the speculation, Mourinho says he'll come back to EPL, I think Citeh is a possibility but Faguson.....er Ferguson says he'll be at Sham United.

Who would you want/expect to get as the next city manager?
Also apparently it is all but a done deal that Tevez will gone in the summer. What type of transfer season do you expect City to have?
As far as City are concerned, I just need something to look forward to. LSU baseball isn't helping things either.

Haven't heard of that....would suck if true.
Honestly I've been pretty busy with school lately and haven't been able to keep up with much so IDK who is available or who we would go after.

Won't happen, but I can dream

I've been lurking around the bluemoon message boards and the guys there talk about it as though it is just a matter of time. I'm not sure if they are the City equivalent of rantards or not.

I don't think its that far fetched. They have the money. And taking the helm at City would pit Jose on a crash course head to head clash with Sir Alex every year.
Imagine the epicness that would be the Manchester Derby after that. It would elivate it to United's most sought after derby win instead of running secondary to the North West derby between Pool and United.

There's no doubt about any of that. City has the money to hire the Special One AND the money to get him the players he wants. It'd be a good match IMO.
Now the issue is, does he wanna leave Madrid right now?
If I'm in charge of City, I at LEAST make a strong pitch to him to take over. There have been rumblings of Tevez wanting out all season, but maybe with a top manager like Mourinho he'd change his tune. Plus, the guy is a proven winner.
If they do sack Mancini, who do they go after?

I'm a fully dignified member of Bluemoon and the place is just like the rant. The meltdown monday put the rant to shame, easily.
After Mourinho, I have to say that we look to Joey Barton. Ask him to go ahead and retire, then let him manage. Also, I'd pay Garreth Barry ANYTHING to not play, even if it takes making him the manager. He sucks so effing bad.
Epic FA Cup Semi-Final Thread in the works btw

I didn't get a chance to see Tevez's injury. Some people were saying that there was no way he would be able to walk off the field like he did if it was torn. I just hope there is something lost in translation between Mancini and Tevez's description of the injury.

oh definitely. Mancini's a fricking retard Italian. Tevez told a sideline reporter it was pulled, Mancini said torn. no WAY it's acutally torn

The good news from that article is that Micah Richards will be available on saturday. I enjoy those long runs he makes on the left side. Maybe he can spoon feed Dzeko some crosses this weekend.

I like Micah too. Dzeko and swag need to step it up big time. I don't see them meshing well though for some reason.

Mourinho rules out city, at least for next year
I always saw him staying at real for at least another year anyway. SAF isn't retiring yet, no city, harry is still at spurs, and I don't see chelsea in the near future even though they appear to be in need of a new manager.

What was he supposed to say?
I think its more likely than people think, but I think Mancini gets another year at least.
