Mirallas has a small tear in his groin. He'll miss the rest of the season, but should be healed for the start of the World Cup.

Distin is "highly doubtful" for this weekend and the extent of his injury to his hamstring will not be known for another couple of days. He might also miss the rest of the season.

These two injuries could prove costly in the race for fourth, as both of them were in very good form as of late. I can't say it isn't fair though, because we all know the injury struggles Arsenal have had as well.

Two out and hopefully two in (Pienaar and Jagielka).

Looking at City's injuries and who replaces them, theirs are far worse.

The team selection against C.P. is what caused us C.L., Arsenal ain't losing again, a tie vs. C.P. would have gave us a good shot on goal difference. No shot now that Ramsey is back, imho.

we have quite a bit more depth to work with, although toure and silva are virtually irreplaceable.

i hate seeing people injured, but any blow to everton's form makes me feel better about a trip to goodison park.

eta: looks like yaya will be back for that match.
