I don't know as much about Villa as you do, but Guthrie's ok in a squad player sense IMO. I wouldn't be thrilled if Fulham bought him, but if the price was low enough I wouldn't be that upset.

Bannan bossed Fulham's midfield in a game last season. Really impressive, but haven't seen much of him since. Granted, I don't watch a ton of Villa games, especially this year since I try to avoid McLeish coached teams. Not to pile on, since I know you hate him

Fletcher is the only wolves player I'd be interested in. If mcleish goes this summer then the aim will be to build around our young talent and hopefully push for Europa league.

I think Fletcher would do very good with a better supporting cast... Is AV planning to keep Bent?

Van Bommel returning to Holland

He is in the twilight of his career and looks set to finish it out at PSV.

Cissé stays he is staying at Newcastle

Well, we will see. At the end of the day, money talks.

Kuyt says "no" to Feyenoord return

Good call by Kuyt. Feyenoord, even though he is worshipped there, would be a step backwards. He's not that awful.

Mike Ashley said he would spend more money with the team going back to Europe, it's not like the team is broke, just more budget conscious than in previous years.

Despite what Pardew said I think it would take a sick amount of money to get them to sell Cisse, it would make the Caroll outrage pale by comparison.

Couple of rumors for my teams:

Newcastle is rumored to be after Lille defender Mathieu Debuchy (Man U is also in the running for him)

PSG is one of several clubs looking to add Man City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

Although.. if ever now would be the time to sell him for a huge profit.

How much did you all pay for him like 5-10 mil right?

Probably could sell for 30-50.. which is huge profit for half a year.

If they got 50 million for him I would understand. 30 not so much. We have a really good young core that will be competitive for a long time if we play our cards right, no reason to sell our best player unless the amount of money we got for him was just ridiculous.

TeleMadrid are reporting that Chelsea are offering Atletico Madrid 15 million plus Torres for Falcao.

What happened to Ba? He stopped scoring goals and Cissé kind of took over.

He's still around. I could see him getting moved though, we need another solid defender and he's a bit of a redundancy as you said.

I was hoping you could tell me why he stopped scoring goals. I think he was played more on the wing with Cisse up top?

Yeah he got moved from Striker to winger. Other than that I couldn't really tell you, just one of those things.
