This commitment shows how strategic recruiting has become.
Earlier in the year, 4* RB Corey Grant commits to bama and soon after 4* WR Antonio Goodwin commits to Auburn. Now, 5* RB Dyer commits to Auburn and the next day, 5* S/WR Keenan Allen commits to bama. Coincidences? I think not.

Maybe, but by judging Allen's comments, he's been committed privately for some time. He just went public for the fans today.

Maybe the coaches told him to commit today to counter Auburn's commitment from Dyer? Just speculation, but it makes sense.

FWIW I posted a week ago he would be committing to bama this week. May have been dyer related, but its been known for a while.
