Please someone help me. On the replay of the Julio Jones TD, the block that sprung Jones was thrown by #77 ....ALABAMA's left tackle who was down field. Was he an eligible receiver???? Because if he wasn't' it should have been eligle receiver down field........
HelP!

Karma from the UGAY game.
You mean the one LSU got penalized for excessive celebration after the go ahead?

Yes and no. Look, Lee was not going to lead LSU back against Bama. However, that was a downright abysmal call.

I agree with Dolla. The int and the face mask were both terrible officiating, but LSU likely would have lost either way with the injuries. Without the injuries LSU wins IMO.

It was definitely an INT. Wouldn't have mattered though. LSU's offense couldn't move the ball.
I love this comment!
But wouldn't it have been fair to find out?
That is a poor reason to justify a poor call!

A Jarrett Lee TD drive, onside kick, and then a FG.
Very doubtful.

LSU was down by 6 when they got jobbed. They needed one score.
Still doubtful, but not as you're implying.

Robbed on the call that could have been a game changer

Why did the game continue, based on this call we could all just stop and go home.
Poor excuse for a win

LSU got beat by a better team.
Bama only became better when the starting QB and RB had to come out with injuries. But the same could be said of any team who loses those key positions. LSU can run with Bama easily with their QB and RB the whole game. LSU fought a hard game injuries gave Bama the shot and the refs made calls to stay in Bama's favor.

LSU was under the microscope all game. If there was a flinch by a lineman, tap on the jersey by a DB, or even a different spot needed on the field, LSU was on the wrong end of the call.
Many game influencing call, including the pick, but what do you expect playing in Tuscaloosa. I'm not sure why they do it when the whole country is watching. Meh.

The refs influenced the game, inadvertantly or not.

NO ROB. Didn't matter is why. Lee was not gonna score so it is a moot point.
Posted on 11/7/09 at 6:41 pm to DEANintheYAY
Down right robbed. If I were an LSU player who gave it all and even possibly ended my college career for a victory (Charles Scott) then this would not be acceptable at any terms. Apologies and Suspensions will not make up for taking away a players right to PLAY THE GAME

That one call wasn't the only terrible call or no call of the night.
