Looking for a place to get crickets and shiners tommorrow morning. Somewhere reasonably close to interstate 12 if possible Between Covington and the Henderson public boat launch by the Atchafalaya welcome center. Any help would be appreciated.

Trying to get clarification on exactly what you need to do to bring meat/skull into Louisiana from out of state. From what I read if I understand correctly you cannot bring back any part of the vertebrae and you must removed brain material from a skull. I’ve had a couple friends tell me that you can’t bring any bone. That I need to de-bone the animal completely and if you want to bring horns back that I would need to cut horns off of skull. Can someone share some experience/knowledge about this? Thx in advance

Have never fished Grand Isle. My son is at an age now where he can go with me. Have always wanted to try surf fishing and was thinking of tent camping at the state park. May bring our 2 man kayak and fish some marsh in the area if weather permits. Just looking for any advice/watch outs for a first timer to Grand Isle. Thanks in advance.
