The judge also jailed a defense lawyer after he objected to the meeting and calling for a mistrial.

I'm trying to find the video of Ashley dressing the judge down with case law and why he is now a witness to this criminal contempt charge and can't preside over it - The Judge was completely out of pocket. I'll see if I can find it because that girl always brings receipts.

We've been talking about it a few days here.
And I think he's more like Phil from Fresh Prince than Suge Knight.

The entire Fulton County DA's office and judicial apparatus exemplify RICO.

Fulton Co is more corrupt than South Sudan.

The appeals court emergency motion granted only stays the summary conviction penalty of 20 days in jail for Steele, it does not exonerate him. It simple halts his incarceration until the criminal contempt of court matter can be appropriately adjudicated.
Also, Fani has little to do with this. This is more on the judge than the prosecution.

Here's a breakdown-
A witness in the case was given immunity many months ago with the understanding he would testify. At the last minute, he decides he doesn't want to testify. He wants to plead the 5th. Prosecutor and Judge hold a private meeting to discuss how to handle this matter. The Witness was asked if he had an attorney. The Witness said no, I don't have an attorney. So a meeting was held with this witness, prosecutors, and the judge, to inform him what would happen if he backed out of his immunity deal.
Defense lawyers weren't invited to this meeting.
But they found out about it through the grapevine.
Defense atty Steele calls out the judge. The judge is beside himself and wants to know how Steele found out about this meeting which had only happened a couple hours earlier. Steele says go frick yourself a-hole, in a legal way. Judge holds him in criminal contempt of court for not divulging the source that tipped him off to the secret meeting.
Judge sentences him to the maximum of 20 days in jail. The lawyer's lawyer (who is on the Trump legal team coincidentally) appeals this to a higher court which instantly stayed the jail sentence until such a time as Steele can get his own fair trial on whether or not he commited criminal contempt of court by not telling the judge his source for knowing about the secret meeting.
In summary, this judge is NOT a literal moron, he's just arrogant. Arrogance gets in the way of smart people all the time. This is guaranteed to be a mistrial or granted an appeal. Even this sorry arse Uncle Phil has admitted as much in the last days.

So from the motion to recuse the judge:
In the alleged ex parte hearing, the judge and ADA for Fani Willis took this witness into chambers and tried to strong arm him into perjuring himself.
"Chief Judge Glanville informed Copeland he could keep him incarcerated until additional defendants were tried - not just the six defendants currently on trial.
AKA, the Judge is threating the witness
"Sworn witness Copeland then said he would testify, but would simply lie on the stand. ADA Hulton stated that she would not prosecute sworn witness Copeland if he were to lie on the stand."
"Sworn witness Copeland stated he would testify he killed Donovan Thomas Jr., but ADA Hylton then told Copeland the she would prosecute him FOR PERJURY if he testified he killed Thomas."
Just to reiterate, this was an ex parte meeting without the defense with a sworn in witness. The Judge was present for and participated in witness coercion along with DA Fani Willis' office.
Wild, wild stuff.

I don't care if these gangsters are guilty or not. They deserve to be acquitted based on the tyrannical actions of the DA and Judge.

The witness tampering by the judge and ADA alone is enough for a dismissal with prejudice.
Let alone the fact it was in an ex parte meeting with a SWORN IN WITNESS IN THE MIDST OF TESTIFYING

Kinda thinking along the same lines. The judge meeting and not sharing with the defense (even though the defense isn’t handling his particular case) should be grounds for acquittal.
Hope these corrupt judges get theirs soon enough. You’d have to be a fool as a judge to be partial. People are going to come a knockin if this keeps up
