The CIA doesn't have anything to do with Civil Affairs Operations within the United States. Don't think for a moment that the FBI or the more secretive Intelligence Agencies would love to bust the CIA messing around in the US

Remember when Florida voted for felons who were out but had unpaid fines to have the right back and the FL legislature said 'nah'
No. No I don't.
I DO remember, however...
The 2018 Vote: Nearly 65% of Florida voters approved Amendment 4, which automatically restored voting rights to people with past felony convictions after they finished "all terms of sentence including parole or probation"
The Law: In 2019, the Florida Legislature passed Senate Bill 7066, signed by Governor Ron DeSantis, stating that "all terms of sentence" includes the full payment of all court fines, fees, and restitution.
The Florida Supreme Court issued an advisory opinion in January 2020 agreeing with the state interpretation that financial obligations are a part of the sentence.
In September 2020, the full 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in Gruver v. Barton that requiring the payment of fees and fines before voting is constitutional, upholding the state's restrictions.
Quite frankly, I fail to see the problem. I'm sure you don't see a problem either, do you?
