If anything, it wouldn't shock me to later learn that there's something "suspicious" about Bourdain's suicide. Weinstein is a horrible human being.

I definitely understand your skepticism. I’ve been studying Arabic for over three years, have lived in Amman, Jordan and currently in Beirut. It’s part of my requirement for graduate school.
I plan on posting some pictures of my time in Istanbul / Beirut on the Travel board today or tomorrow, I’ll be sure to bump this thread when I do.
As crazy as it sounds I probably have more Arab / Muslim friends than most people on this board put together.
Damn near lost my shite when OP chose a “Muslim Name” for being the reason for my initial response ...

I have zero emotional investment in some TV celebrity's death. Not celebrating. Just don't care.
I have little to no sympathy for suicides in general. Bourdain made a decision to kill himself. Good for him. Now his family has to live with that decision.
But I'm really glad to know we have sensitive types like you picking up the slack.
