The blowback against Ms. Cheney demonstrated Mr. Trump’s undented popularity with the base. Roughly 87% of Republican voters approved of Mr. Trump’s job performance in an NBC News survey conducted after the Jan. 6 riot and his impeachment.
She's toast.

There will be some surprised incumbent “republicans” after they are voted out be real republicans. Have a feeling there will be new blood being voted in by republicans. Changing of the guard

Secession just seems impossible to achieve. I'd love to see a well thought out and workable plan. I'm not even an advocate for secession but the real threat of it would give red states some leverage.

I was thinking the same thing earlier tonight. I don’t think it’s doable but it’s really the only peaceable solution - especially for white conservatives who are under the gun
