A small victory but a victory none the less. Let republicans across the country take note. Maybe some will learn from her mistake.

No. That's Mary.

quote:

The Wyoming Republican Party issued a statement last week acknowledging its GOP voters overwhelming condemn Ms. Cheney‘s actions on impeachment.

Fellow members of the House Republican Conference are calling for her to step down from her post as conference chair, which she so far refuses to do.

Ms. Cheney had not responded to the county central committee as of Monday morning, Mr. Correnti said.

She has practically gone into hiding, he said.

“People in the county party have attempted to get ahold of Representative Cheney through email, phone calls — and I think only one person got a response from a staffer and it was pretty short,” he said. “We haven’t heard anything.”

Ms. Cheney also did not immediately respond to The Washington Times’s request for comment on the censure.

The blowback against Ms. Cheney demonstrated Mr. Trump’s undented popularity with the base. Roughly 87% of Republican voters approved of Mr. Trump’s job performance in an NBC News survey conducted after the Jan. 6 riot and his impeachment.

She's toast.

There will be some surprised incumbent “republicans” after they are voted out be real republicans. Have a feeling there will be new blood being voted in by republicans. Changing of the guard

That happened in 1994, but one of those Republicans turned in to this guy:

I can't wait to vote against Bill Cassidy in six years. He may not seek reelection if he joins his new lover, Mitt Romney, in "convicting" Donald Trump, post-presidency.

This shutting down of dissent doesn’t seem to be having an effect outside the swamp-gas bubble that surrounds the Potomac:

Wyoming GOP chairman floats secession after Cheney votes to impeach Trump....

From the PTA to the President, they call all kiss my arse. They are all enemies of the people and this Great Nation. The sooner they are reminded of this the better off we are!

What is a real republican to trump supporters? Certainly not being fiscally responsible. So what else?

I like how the house reps have to face voters every election. Senate terms are way too long

Secession just seems impossible to achieve. I'd love to see a well thought out and workable plan. I'm not even an advocate for secession but the real threat of it would give red states some leverage.

A lot of MAGAs need to run for every office from dog catcher and school board member to state houses. Primary the RINOS, weasels and milksops.

It included a demand that Ms. Cheney appear before the committee to explain her actions.

Not enough war or dead Middle Eastern civilians for her liking.

I was thinking the same thing earlier tonight. I don’t think it’s doable but it’s really the only peaceable solution - especially for white conservatives who are under the gun

Tommy Tuberville is a good example, especially in red states. Jeff Sessions is another.
