Only been happening for millions of years there. Something like 150 mud volcanos in the Caspian. They go off from time to time

I've never seen a mud volcano. That fire looks like gas burning. Wouldn't a mud volcano be firing lots of debris or "mud" and obscure the fire.

OK, so they're calling it a mud volcano. Had heard of such things, but didn't think they'd look like this. Maybe it's an eruption of massive amounts of gas followed by mud ? Underwater, so I guess no cool pics..

Yep, got around to seeing that. Also did a quick search on YouTube to see other similar types of eruptions . Pretty cool actually.
