Yeah, you right. Instead they will invoke the Crusades like they know anything about that. It’s insane that we learned so much in these last 20 years and will just decide to disregard it based on the assurance that ‘this time will be different.’

You can’t bomb these people into liking us.

Yeah right. All those militants are thinking about is how the US maimed their little brother in a drone strike back in 2008… or their father, mother, cousin, etc…

I’m glad these groups are exposing themselves so we can kill them.

The WSJ has an estimated audience of 4ish million. Only 1ish percent of the US population. If folks wouldn't regurgitate the WSJ propaganda, we'd all be better off. IMHO

They already like us. The vast majority of Iranians are pro west.

We will never kill off their will to fight and control their country from the air, and they will bounce back probably more quickly than anyone can imagine. I have been impressed by the lethality and joint force capability we've demonstrated over the last two weeks. It will mean all for shite when the same regime holds power at all levels again by the summer. Trump will cut bait in a month or two because he doesn't have the guts to stick with this as energy prices skyrocket and markets tank, and we will leave the sane Iranians in a lark yet again. They will rearm. So what then?

The strategy has to be to take out the regime's biggest weapons, and as many leaders/fighters as possible from the air, arm the people and unleash a civil war of retribution and hope the iranian people can clean up their country.

Then deal with whatever emerges.

So, the never-Trumper narrative is obviously that Trump is Cheney/Bush 2.0.

Call me when we have troops on the ground for at least a year (let alone 10 to 20 years) and thousands of American casualties. Then maybe I'll entertain that comparison.

Until then, STFU.

Yes. Let's just continue to send them billions of dollars a year, which they use to fund terrorist attacks against the West. That will fix things.
